Poll Workers — Poll Worker Training

Poll Worker TrainingWorking the Polls on Election Day

Poll Worker Hours begin at 5:30 a.m. The Secretary of State’s Office is glad that you have chosen to be a poll worker. The civic duty you have undertaken is the basis for all democracy and affects all voters in West Virginia.

As a supplement to the training your county clerk has prepared and offered, we offer the following resources.

You can print these items out for a reference, or just review them online to assist your preparation for election day.

If at any time you have any questions, please contact your county clerk. Keep in mind this is only used to supplement the training and is not a replacement for the extensive training you will receive from the county clerks.
